Since early 2009, I have been researching and writing a new book about how we pick talent in America. As we move into a post-industrial society, organizations that succeed are more dependent than ever on getting the right people on their team. There’s wide agreement on the strategic need to attract and keep great people — but very little insight on how, exactly to do this.
Thus this book. It amounts to a panoramic survey of about a dozen high-achievement fields, sharing stories, tips and insights from each one.
